Developer Notes
My work for the launch and first live-ops year of Warzone focused on developing core gameplay mechanic UI, delivering seamless inventory management systems, and iterating on player-to-player communication support. Working cohesively with UIUX teams across studios, we successfully delivered a blockbuster launch that brought Call of Duty® Warzone™ to the forefront of Battle Royale gaming.
As is the nature of a live-service product, the work I performed for Warzone's creation and first live-ops year was highly iterative and - in large part - the specifics / visual examples are still unavailable to the public per NDA restrictions. Several primary areas of my work have been published and can be outlined by the following categories:
-
Circle state (and state change) communication
-
Inventory & inventory mechanics development
-
Tac Map development
-
Control scheme development
